The United States would welcome diplomatic talks with Egyptians when a high-level Egyptian delegation arrives here next month for the World Bank and International Monetary Fund meetings. This view was expressed yesterday by State Department spokesman John King. Although the delegation, headed by Deputy Premier Mohammed Abdulla Marzaban, has not approached the US on the matter of talks, King said, “Of course we would welcome talks.” Marzaban is also Egyptian Economics Minister.
