The late British Zionist leader Harry Sacher was praised by Israeli leaders and academicians here last Thursday for his contributions toward the establishment of the Hebrew University and his role in the Zionist movement after World War I. The occasion was the dedication of the Harry Sacher Institute for Legal Research at the Hebrew University.

A dedicatory plaque was unveiled by his widow, Miriam Sacher, and their eldest son, Michael Sacher, chairman of the Joint Palestine Appeal and chairman of the board of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency in London. The ceremony also marked the establishment of the Harry Sacher Research Fund.
