An Israeli Army patrol was attacked near Nahal Golan on the Golan Heights this morning. No casualties were reported. A military source said shells were fired at the patrol from an improvised device that was neither a mortar nor a bazooka. The incident was the first along the Syrian line in 12 days.
Israeli security forces in the Gaza Strip fired on a car which failed to heed an order to halt today. One occupant was killed and the others were detained for questioning.
