Israel Fashion Show Raises $2 Million in Israel Bond Investments

An audience of more than 1400 persons purchased $2 million in Israel Bonds at the annual fashion show of Israeli designers held at the Hotel Americana last Thursday. The event, sponsored by the Women’s Division of State of Israel Bonds, was held in honor of the 75th birthday of Israeli Premier Golda Meir and in celebration of Israel’s 25th anniversary. Special guests were Mrs. Yosef Tekoah, wife of Israel’s Ambassador to the United Nations; Mrs. Simcha Dinitz, wife of israel’s Ambassador to the United States; and Bess Myerson, former New York Commissioner of Consumer Affairs.
