Lod Airport authorities today published the delivery receipt Number 57651 which carries the signature of Capt. Adel Kawas confirming the receipt of fuel and other services for his Boeing 707 which was hijacked to Lod Aug. 16. The decision to make public the receipt came after a Middle East Airlines spokesman said Kawas assured the company he signed no receipts and the company was not in a position to repay the expenses of fuel.

The Deputy Director of Lod Airport said that the sum of IL 7000 or equivalent in foreign currency was due only for fuel servicing and airport fees. The food and drinks given to the passengers and crew–estimated at IL 3250–was “not charged to the Lebanese.

A three-man delegation representing publishers of Israeli dailies left today for Europe to assure paper for Israeli newspapers for next year. The delegation said it would seek assurances for quantities and not discuss prices as these are changing almost daily. The Israeli papers–24 in all–have paper until the end of this year. Contracts for more paper were unilaterally cancelled by suppliers.
