Soviet police arrested four Jews and dispersed more than 1000 attending a memorial for Jews massacred by the Nazis at Babi Yar, near Kiev, Jewish sources in the Soviet Union reported today. The sources said the arrests occurred yesterday as a large crowd gathered at the Babi Yar ravine where an estimated 70,000 Jews were machine-gunned to death 30 years ago. The police destroyed wreaths brought by Jews and trampled memorial candles, the sources said.
