British Jewry Thanks the Dutch

The Board of Deputies of British Jews has written to the Dutch Ambassador at the Court of St. James, Baron W. J. G. Gevers, asking him to convey to the government of Holland the feelings of gratitude and admiration of British Jews for the Dutch people and their government at the stand they have taken in this crisis. The letter also puts on record the disappointment of British Jewry that the other members of the European Economic Community have proved so cowardly as to refuse to share their oil supplies with Holland even though the Common Market rules provide for such emergencies.
