A spokesman for the Israeli Embassy told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency today that no date has been set yet for the next visit of Secretary of State Henry A. Kissinger to Israel. Kissinger was invited by Israeli Foreign Minister Yigal Allon during their three days of talks here last week. The Embassy spokesman would not confirm or deny reports attributed to a reliable diplomatic source today that Kissinger would be in Israel on or about Feb. 10.
Meanwhile Hermann Eilts, the U.S. Ambassador to Egypt, flew back to Cairo today and was believed to be carrying a report on Allon’s meetings with Kissinger. Although there was no confirmation of that fact, Eilts was called home for consultations and was in Washington during Allon’s visit. U.S. officials are believed to be arranging for Kissinger to go to Cairo for talks with Egyptian President Anwar Sadat either before or after he goes to Israel. There were also unconfirmed reports that Kissinger would visit other Arab capitals the next time he is in the Middle East.
