Rabbi Henri Schilli, director of the French Israelite Seminary, died last night in his home. He was 69. Rabbi Schilli finished his studies at the seminary in 1931, and held posts as secretary general of the Paris Consistory, director of the Jewish Chaplaincy in the French army, and chaplain of concentration camps in France during World War II. He was also one of the founders of the French-Jewish Scouting Organization. He became director of the Israelite Seminary in 1951.
