David Homsky Dead at 63

David Homsky, a poet and secretary of the Israeli Writers Union, died here last Tuesday of a heart attack at the age of 63. Mr. Homsky was born in Minsk, Russia, and came to Palestine in 1936. He served in Haganah and later in the Jewish Brigade that fought under the British Army command in World War II. After the war he travelled to Poland and South America on missions for the Jewish Agency. No published many volumes of poetry for which he was awarded numerous literary prizes.
