Asked whether terrorism will be on the agenda of the proposed summit conference of industrial nations later this year. Mondale said he would not discuss topics because the nations offering proposals for the conference did so in confidence.

The Vice-President, who returned yesterday from his trip to Europe and Japan, said that the conference will take up economic subjects and “other crucial matters of political and security significance.” He did not identify them. The location and timing of the conference, he said, would be arranged through diplomatic channels. Meanwhile, the State Department announced that Secretary of State-Cyrus R. Vance will go to Moscow March 28 to discuss strategic arms limitations and “other questions of mutual interest.”
