A delegation of 62 Mexican business leaders are scheduled to leave soon for a 14-day visit to Israel to negotiate with Israeli industrialists and government officials on new trade treaties and joint investment projects in the first such visit of its kind, it was announced here today. The business leaders, headed by two top industrial officials, and who include some of Lebanese origin and some Jewish businessmen, will discuss joint projects in irrigation, food, electronics, metal and chemical industries.
Hanan Harlev, economic attache of the Israel Embassy here, left for Israel to make arrangements for the visit. Hanan Aynor, the outgoing Israel Ambassador to Mexico, said commercial exchanges between Mexico and Israel are rising steadily. Aynor is being replaced as envoy by Shaul Rosolio, former Israel police chief.
