Miller Named Azf Interim Preim President

Rabbi Israel Miller, vice-president of Yeshiva University and first president of the American Zionist Federation, has been named to serve as the interim-president of the AZF, it was announced by Prof. Leo Diesendruck, chairman of the AZF executive committee. “Miller will fill out the term of office of Fay Schenk. Mrs. Schenk, who was elected to the Executive of the World Zionist Organization at the recent World Zionist Congress, has moved to Jerusalem where she will take on her new role in the WZO,” Diesendruck said. A new president will be elected at the AZF biennial convention Nov.12.
