Despite a radio broadcast appeal from Israel’s Prime Minister Menachem Begin to support the Likud list, 66 percent of the members of the Zionist Organization here and in Soo Paulo voted for the Labor Alignment.
Over 5000 Zionists cast ballots last week. Likud received 22 percent of the votes, Mizrachi-Hapoel Hamizrahi, eight percent, and Independents, four percent.
