Foreign Minister Yitzhak Shamir will leave after the High Holy Days on a lengthy tour. His first stop will be Washington, where he is scheduled to meet with Administration leaders. He will then go to New York to participate in the opening of the UN General Assembly session. He already has meetings lined up with 15 foreign ministers. Sources in Jerusalem said he would seek to meet with diplomatic representatives of the USSR. Early October he will participate in the session of the European Economic Community council.
