Shimon Peres, leader of the opposition Labor Party, was admitted to Tel Hashomer Hospital early this morning after complaining of chest and abdominal pains but doctors found no evidence of a heart attack and suggested that he might be suffering from indigestion. Peres was reported relaxing tonight. A medical bulletin announced that he will remain in the hospital for a few days to rest and will be under medical supervision.
