The 10-nation member states of the European Economic Community announced that their foreign ministers will meet Sunday in Luxemburg to consider the possibility of sanctions against Israel. The EEC said the question of economic sanctions had been raised during a foreign ministers meeting in Bonn last week.

The EEC submitted a questionnaire to Israel asking whether the arrested Palestinians will be treated as prisoners of war and whether Red Cross convention will be applied. The request for information was submitted by the Belgian Ambassador in Tel Aviv acting on behalf of the Ten.
