Two Israeli soldiers suffered slight wounds yesterday when their patrol came under fire in the Shouf mountains in eastern Lebanon. The patrol was pinned down by fire from behind Syrian positions until an Israeli tank opened fire on the attackers. The incident occurred on the Jebel Barukh, the highest point occupied by Israeli forces which overlooks Syrian positions in the Bekaa valley.
