Two Israeli soldiers were injured slightly yesterday when a booby-trapped car exploded near their jeep on a road southeast of Tyre in south Lebanon, the army reported today. Two other remote control explosive charges were detonated near Jeb-Jenin in eastern Lebanon yesterday without causing injuries to an Israeli patrol passing by at the time.

Meanwhile, Israeli army officers took credit for effecting the release of a group of Shouf mountain Druze kidnapped by Christian Phalangists in an area under Israeli control. The officers summoned the local Phalangist leaders and informed them that kidnapping would not be tolerated.
