Two Israeli soldiers were wounded in south Lebanon over the weekend, one of them only slightly.

According to a military spokesman a soldier was injured Friday when an explosive charge detonated on a roadside five miles north of the Litani River. Army engineers discovered another explosive in the course of a search and dismantled it safely.

A second soldier was wounded Saturday in a similar incident near Karoun on the eastern sector of the front. He received first aid treatment on the spot and returned to duty.
