Religious pluralism in Israel was the theme of a demonstration attended by about 1,000 persons here Saturday night to protest the attempt by Orthodox zealots to disrupt Simchat Torah services at a Reform congregation in the Baka suburb of Jerusalem a week ago. The demonstration was organized by the Progressive (Reform) movement which received a telegram of support from the secretary of Kibbutz Hadati, the Orthodox kibbutz movement, opposing attempts to dictate religious modes.
