Two Israel Defense Force soldiers were injured by rock-throwers, and two Palestinians suffered gunshot wounds Wednesday, in scattered violence in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

The soldiers were attacked by Palestinians in Khan Yunis, at the southern tip of the Gaza Strip.

Earlier Wednesday, an Arab employed by the Gaza municipality was shot and wounded by unidentified assailants. Sources in Gaza said he was attacked for collaborating with Israeli authorities.

In the West Bank, a 15-year-old Arab youth was shot and wounded during a clash with IDF troops in Surif village, south of Bethlehem.

The IDF reported, meanwhile, the capture of a terrorist gang in Nablus whose members tried to evade a roadblock. They were carrying axes, pocketknives and a large quantity of money, the IDF said.
