Israel’s cost-of living Index rose by 0.7 percent in July, the Central Bureau of Statistics has announced.
The economists said the present trend brings within reach a long-hoped for dream of several Israeli governments: reducing annual inflation to a one-digit figure.
Present forecasts are for inflation to register between 9 and 10 percent for 1992.
