President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt appears to be planning a mini-Camp David for Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin and Palestine Liberation Organization Chairman Yasser Arafat when they meet again in his capital in 10 days.

Mubarak told an Israel Television reporter on Monday in Cairo that he would ask the two leaders to stay together in Cairo for two to four days, until they reach agreement on the disputed issues.

Arafat and Rabin failed Sunday to bridge their differences at a two-hour session in Cairo under Mubarak’s auspices. As a result, the scheduled start of implementation of the Israel-PLO accord was postponed.
