Orthodox synagogues in eight states and Canada are designing Shabbat programs centered around women’s Torah scholarship and communal Jewish leadership. The “Shabbat T’lamdeini: Women, Learning, Leadership and Community” program, organized by the Jewish Orthodox Feminist Alliance for April 30 through May 1, is the second international program developed by the alliance, an outgrowth of the first two Orthodoxy and feminism conferences.
