Russia’s central electoral commission banned a neo-Nazi bloc from running in next month’s parliamentary elections. The move against Spas was taken after the Moscow City Court ruled that the group, Russian for “Savior,” was illegal. Leaders of the party say they will petition Russia’s Supreme Court and the European Human Rights Court in France to overturn the decision.
