Austrian libraries have 186,000 books that the Nazis looted from Holocaust victims, according to the World Jewish Congress, which cited documents found in Austria’s archives. The group cited the books as evidence of the “comprehensive nature of Holocaust loot in Vienna,” said WJC Executive Director Elan Steinberg.
