Liechtenstein is ready to hold talks with the World Jewish Congress about paying compensation for its wartime actions, a spokeswoman for the European principality told JTA. The statement came after a Swiss newspaper charged that the government of Liechtenstein was sympathetic to the Nazi regime and helped Nazi officials smuggle money and artworks looted from European Jews.
