The Slovak government approved the creation of a fund to compensate Holocaust victims. The state plans to contribute $19 million to the fund, a Slovak official, Pal Csaky, said Wednesday.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
