Israeli troops hunting for Gaza Strip rocket crews killed nine Palestinians in clashes. Thursday’s fighting in Beit Hanoun, a Palestinian town on the Gaza-Israel boundary, was the heaviest since the army invaded the strip last week following a deadly Hamas rocket salvo on the Israeli town of Sderot. Palestinian sources said at least seven of the dead were gunmen.
