Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s Cabinet approved a bill to compensate Israeli settlers slated for evacuation. Thirteen government ministers voted Sunday in favor of the compensation package of up to $500,000 per settler family relocated under Sharon’s withdrawal plan. Six ministers — including five from Sharon’s ruling Likud Party — were opposed.
