Condoleezza Rice urged Israel and the Palestinian Authority to continue working for peaceful coexistence. “I expect to continue to work with you and your camp, and to progress toward the two-state solution in which Israel and the Palestinian state can live in peace, free and free of terror,” the U.S. secretary of state, who is visiting the Middle East, told Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom in Jerusalem on Monday.
