The Palestinian Authority’s foreign minister called for Israel’s elimination and said Hamas would not disarm. “I dream of putting up a giant map of the world on the wall of my home in Gaza, on which Israel does not appear,” Mahmoud Zahar, a senior Hamas member, said in an interview with Chinese media published this week. “I am certain there is no place for Israel on this land.”
