Holocaust denier David Irving came to Budapest for a book launch. Irving, a Briton convicted in an Austrian court last year of Holocaust denial, was invited by publishers Sandor and Tibor Gede to introduce the Hungarian version of his book “Nuremberg: The Last Battle,” according to the Budapest media. Irving arrived in the Hungarian capital on March 12.His book casts the post-World II trials of Nazis in Nuremberg, Germany, as unjust show trials used by the Allies to punish Germany. Irving is expected to speak at the extreme-right Hungarian Justice and Life Party rally on Friday. Irving was released in December from an Austrian jail after serving 13 months of a three-year sentence for Holocaust denial. He has plans to attend several book signings around Hungary.
