DC JCRC urges protestors to reject Palestinian violence

The Greater Metropolitan Washington Jewish Community Relations Council called on Palestinians and their supporters to renounce hatred and violence and focus on creating peace with Israel. The JCRC’s call was timed to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the Six Day War and the forthcoming End the Occupation rally, scheduled for June 10 in Washington.”Ending the occupation is not a platform for peace,” said JCRC Executive Director Ron Halber in a statement.”Once again, Palestinians have chosen to demonize Israel rather than looking for ways to engage her outstretched hand for peace” he said.
