Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s administration has set up a council of 15 close advisers. Agence France-Presse reported the council will “define and guard” the hard-line Iranian president’s “thought and works.”Ahmadinejad has caused much concern over his public statements denouncing the West and Israel, which he said has a countdown until its destruction. He also has called the Holocaust a “myth,” hosting a revisionism conference in December. “Iran is stronger than ever,” he said last week at a press conference. “The secret is to believe in God. Those who are for God are victorious.”
