The first Israeli to play in the Women’s National Basketball Association is heading home.Shay Doron, 22, announced this week she had signed with Israel’s Elitzur Ramle and would be joining the team in September. Doron became the first Israeli to play in the WNBA after being selected in the draft by the New York Liberty in May.
