Australia’s government passed a motion calling for the release of Israel’s abducted soldiers.
The Australian House of Representatives passed a motion Wednesday calling for the release of Gilad Shalit, Ehud Goldwasser and Eldad Regev. Shlomo Goldwasser, the father of Ehud, was in the visitors’ gallery to observe passage of the bipartisan motion.
Shlomo Goldwasser is in Australia to press the cause of the abducted soldiers.
