Israel has called a recent report on Iran by the International Atomic Energy Agency “unacceptable.”

The report, released on Thursday, credited Iran with being truthful about aspects of its nuclear program but confirmed that it continued to defy U.N. Security Council resolutions demanding it free uranium enrichment.

“This report is unacceptable,” said Minister of Strategic Affairs Avigdor Lieberman, according to the Jerusalem Post. “This is further proof of ElBaradei’s one-sided and pro-Iranian position.”

Mohamed El Baradei is the IAEA’s director general.

Both the United States and Britain saw the report as cause for continued pursuit of further Security Council sanctions. In statements responding to the report, Britain’s Foreign Office and the White House both urged fuller Iranian cooperation.
