Israeli troops killed two Hamas gunmen in Gaza.
Special forces mounted an incursion near Beit Hanoun, in northern Gaza, early Friday in search of rocket crews.
The Israeli unit encounted a Hamas patrol and killed two of its members in the ensuing clash. Three Hamas gunmen were wounded.
There were no Israeli casualties.
