A Palestinian group claimed responsibility for killing an Israeli border guard in a shooting attack near Jerusalem.
Rami Zoari, 20, from Beersheba, was killed Thursday night in a shooting attack near the Shuafat refugee camp in northern Jerusalem; one other border guard was wounded.
The Battalions of Struggle and Return, a previously anonymous offshoot of Fatah’s Aksa Martyrs’ Brigades, claimed responsibility for the attack, Israel Radio reported.
