Israel’s latest surveillance satellite sent its first images of Earth.

Israel Aerospace Industries announced over the weekend that its TecSAR satellite, launched last month, had beamed down its first images of Earth and was in “perfect” working condition.

The TecSAR significantly improves Israel’s capability to spy on regional foes because, unlike previous satellites deployed by the Jewish state, its camera works in all weather conditions and at night.
