Hamas aired a children’s TV program showing President Bush being murdered and the White House converted into a mosque.
Al-Aksa Television this week broadcast a puppet show in which the hero, a Palestinian child whose relatives were killed by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, is shown stabbing a fearful Bush to death in revenge.
This “victory” is crowned, according to the show’s narration, by the conversion of the White House into a mosque.
Hamas has been lambasted internationally for using its television station, which is increasingly popular among Palestinians and available abroad via satellite, to spread virulent incitements against Israel and the
United States.
While the content generally focuses on hatred for the Jewish state, some programs also have attacked U.S. policies in Iraq.
