Jewish Funds for Justice honorees announced

Jewish Funds for Justice announced its $10,000 awards to four young Jews for their non-Jewish nonprofit work.

Recipients of Jewish Funds for Justice’s annual Cornerstone Awards, which go to individuals who exemplify Jewish leadership and values through their work with non-Jewish nonprofit organizations, will be: Sarah From, the director of public policy and communications at the Women’s Prison Association; Dan Furmansky, the executive director of Equality Maryland; Haley Grossman, the lead organizer for FAST: Faith and Action for Strength Together; and Amy Traub, the director of research for the Drum Major Institute for Public Policy.

Each recipient will receive a $10,000 grant for personal career development and for their organizations. They will receive their awards at a ceremony on May 29.
