Israel’s ambassador to Poland called relations between the two countries the best they have ever been.
Ambassador David Peleg spoke at a ceremony Sunday honoring Poles who preserve and promote Jewish heritage.
The annual award ceremony, honoring Poles from eight towns across the country, took place during Krakow’s annual Festival of Jewish Culture.
Israel’s 60th birthday is the theme for this year’s nine-day festival, which opened Saturday.
