Israeli army and civil administration officials demolished buildings in a West Bank outpost.

The demolitions on Thursday afternoon occurred a short time before Israel’s High Court issued a temporary restraining order against tearing down the structures in the Yad Yair outpost near Ramallah, Ynet reported.

The demolitions come two days after the demolitions were originally scheduled, when hundreds of supporters gathered at the outpost to turn back the officials. The army decided to postpone the demolition at that time.

The area has been declared a restricted military zone and Palestinian security forces have been told to leave, according to Ynet.

Settlers have vowed to return to the area.

Also on Thursday, two residents of the West Bank community of Yitzhar were detaind by police for allegedly setting fire to Palestinian farmlands near Yitzhar and Kedumim.
