The ads that just won’t die

Barack Obama has been elected, but those controversial Republican Jewish Coalition advertisements just won’t stop.

At about 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, visitors to the Weekly Standard Web site were greeted by an RJC Web ad at the top of the page featuring photos of Obama and Pat Buchanan.

An RJC spokeswoman said the group didn’t know why the ad was still popping up, since they had only paid for them through the beginning of the month.

But seeing the ads a week after the bitter campaign ended did kind of remind us of that famous Michael Corleone line: "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in."
