Polls opened for Israel’s Labor Party primaries for the second time this week.
The party primaries were reported to be running smoothly Thursday as party members cast their paper ballots at about 175 polling stations to decide Labor’s slate in the upcoming elections for Knesset. The primaries had to be halted late Tuesday morning due to technical glitches with new touch-screen voting machines.
Party officials are afraid the turnout will be low following Tuesday’s problems.
