(JTA) — Kenyan runner Sammy Tu won the Tel Aviv Narathon in a record time.
Tu finished Friday’s race in 2:15:15, taking home the $10,000 prize.
The race featured 17,000 runners from 43 countries, according to reports. Another 8,000 runners competed in shorter races.
Medical personnel treated some 100 runners for injuries.
