Yes, there is a Jewish porn star who is not Ron Jeremy and yes, Jewish porn star James Deen is obviously responsible enough to make a PSA about using condoms.
James Deen, who is known as the “Porn’s Boy Next Door,” mostly because of his normal-guy looking appearance (and the fact that he’s a porn star and doesn’t have a mustache, which is a shame, because adult film is pretty much the only industry where it is okay and even encouraged to rock a mustache). Deen has already starred in over 1300 porn movies, with one non-porn film titled “The Canyons,” which is coming next year featuring Deen and Linsay Lohan.
Now, perhaps as part of his attempt to step out of the adult industry, he shows he’s acting abilities in a short PSA about sex, and the many disadvantages of not using a condom during a one-night stand. According to the PSA, made by “Get Rubber,” if you use a condom you will live a happy life with an attractive woman and a beautiful baby, whereas if you don’t you’ll die from AIDS.
I really hope this teaches the viewers to use protection, although I hope the same people who learn their values from the PSA won’t actually expect to share the same best-case scenario Deen has. I would also assume that the people who watch and are educated by the PSA are not porn stars and do not look like James Deen, and therefore has a lower set of expectation (except not dying from AIDS, of course).
